Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Clientele Growth

• Actively build and maintain a loyal, growing clientele through exceptional service, client retention, referrals, and rebooking.

• Deliver personalized consultations to understand each guest's hair goals, lifestyle, and maintenance needs.

• Take ownership of your schedule, productivity, and professional growth.

• Create memorable guest experiences that encourage long-term relationships.

Professional Recommendations & Guest Education

• Confidently recommend professional service add-ons and treatments that enhance the guest's results and overall hair health.

• Educate guests on professional take-home hair care products and provide personalized recommendations to maintain their results between visits.

• Approach retail and service recommendations as an essential part of the guest experience, never as high-pressure sales.

• Stay knowledgeable about salon services, professional products, and current industry trends.

Teamwork & Salon Culture

• Be a dependable, positive, and supportive team player.

• Collaborate with fellow stylists, assistants, and front desk staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Contribute to a professional, welcoming, and inclusive salon environment.

• Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and salon initiatives.

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and assist with shared salon responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Cosmetology License.

• Strong technical skills in haircutting, coloring, styling, and other salon services.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Comfortable making professional service and take-home product recommendations.

Our front desk is the nucleus of the salon. This position plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience while helping keep the salon organized, clean, and running smoothly throughout the day.

This is a fast-paced position that requires someone who can confidently multitask, take initiative, pay attention to the details, and recognize what needs to be done without always having to be asked. This is not just a "front desk job"  it is a sales job. 

What You'll Do

• Welcome every guest with a friendly, professional attitude

• Answer phones, texts, and guest questions

• Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments accurately

• Check guests in and out and process payments

• Help maintain an organized and efficient appointment book

• Assist with rebooking, filling openings, and supporting the daily flow of the salon

• Educate guests about salon services, products, promotions, and policies

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk

• Help keep the salon guest-ready throughout the day, including light cleaning, laundry, restocking, and general salon upkeep

• Communicate effectively with stylists, assistants, management, and other front desk team members

• Complete opening, closing, and daily front desk responsibilities

• Help identify what needs attention and take initiative to get it done
